Located about 20 minutes outside of Munich is the city of Dachau. In 1933 the Nazi’s built a concentration camp here that would become the prototype for all such places. More than 35,000 Prisoners were believed to have lost their lives here between 1933-1945. Today Dachau stands as a memory, to remind us of the hate that once reigned so powerful. It’s very weird to even visit such a place. It’s as if your mere presence is a desecration and insult to what had happened. One thing is for certain that even today, and even on a completely different level, any time spent at Dachau concentration camp not be pleasant.
